SACRED VALLEY BIKE TOUR

08:00 hrs We will meet at our office or we could pick you up with our vehicle from your accommodation to go to the town of Taray, 40 minutes from the city of Cusco, near the town of Pisaq.

09:00 hrs We will begin the bike ride along a path near the Urubamba River, which runs through the entire Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start in the town of Taray, located near the archaeological complex of Pisaq (2,968 meters above sea level). At this point our guide will provide information about the circuit and the safety measures that must be considered.

The route offers us a cool Valley climate with temperatures of approximately 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, where we will observe amazing peaks and mountains with extensive fields of crops.

It will be time to take a short break in Andean communities and share culture with the locals, where you can also taste Chicha de Jora, an ancestral drink in the Peruvian Andes, made from corn.

Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at the town of Calca (2,928 meters above sea level), with a thermal sensation of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, the experience may give us the choice of ending at this point, considered very mild, or ending in another town called Huallabamba (+15 kilometers) or finally there would be the option of ending in Urubamba (+7 kilometers).

1:30 p.m. We will enjoy an ecological picnic prepared by the locals of the area for about 45 minutes, there we will enjoy their hospitality and learn a little about their daily life.

The excursion ends with the transfer to the hotel at approximately 5:00 p.m.
