MARAS MORAY VIEWPOINTS BIKE TOUR

08:00 hrs We will meet at our office or we could pick you up with our vehicle from your accommodation to go to the town of Chinchero, while we make the trip our guide will provide important information about safety and precautions that must be considered during the tour.

09:00 hrs will be the starting point by bike from a place between traditional houses made of adobe, with beautiful views of the crops and mountains, we begin our bike ride.

After having traveled for approximately 30 minutes, we will reach a viewpoint, where we will observe the Huaypo lagoon giving us beautiful views between crop areas and the snow-capped mountains of Chicón and Pumahuanca.

Continuing with the route we will find a small town of Cruzpata, a community dedicated to agriculture and livestock, if time allows we can try the typical chicha de jora and share a bit of culture.

12:00 hrs which is halfway through the bike ride, our vehicle will pick us up to take us to an organic lunch with local products prepared by the locals of Misminay located at 3,380 meters above sea level. After a pleasant rest we will take the bikes towards the viewpoint of the archaeological complex of Moray, a place that was formerly used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation, our guide will provide relevant information about the area, the panoramic view will be used to take impressive photos for the memory.

Then, the road will take us We will continue with the route to the Salt Mines of Maras, a path where it gets amazing, crossing a canyon where the mountains are the protagonists of the journey.

15:00 hrs we will arrive at Salineras, our guide will provide information about the history and social impact at the community level, product of salt extraction.

To finish the tour, our driver will pick us up to return to the city of Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m.
